New! Electric Eel Rollercoaster Is Coming To Sea World San Diego in 2018!

Seaworld San Diego has announced ELECTRIC EEL, a Premier Rides Sky Rocket 2 model to open in 2018. This ride will feature a single 150 foot inversion, an eel and other marine life aquarium, and multiple thematic elements. Read more on this new coaster here.

Knotts Berry Farm Sol Spin Construction Update

Construction on Sol Spin has continued. No footer has been installed yet, but the entire windseeker pad has been demolished, including the operation panel room. The queue line is staying as of now, most likely to be reused when Sol Spin opens. See more photos here

Fun Spot America Announces Inverting Wooden Coaster for 2016

KISSIMMEE, FL--Today we are excited to announce a HUGE  Florida deal with The Gravity Group, an American based company out of Cincinnati, Ohio. As part of the deal The Gravity Group will custom design a new Roller Coaster that will be built for Fun Spot America's Kissimmee, Florida location.

B&M Dive Coaster Coming To Magic Mountain?


Today I'm going to be talking about a theme park rumor. This rumor is about a B&M Dive Coaster coming to Six Flags Magic Mountain for the 2018 season. For those of you who don't know what B&M stands for, it stands for Bolliger and Mabillard. B&M is a rollercoaster manufacturing company that makes rides including, Dive Coasters, Hyper Coasters, Wing Coasters, Flying Coasters, Inverted Coasters, Sit-Down Coasters, and Stand-Up Coasters.

SOL SPIN-New for 2017 at Knotts Berry Farm

Knotts Berry Farm in Buena Park, California, will open California's first Mondial Top Scan in 2017. This new ride, dubbed Sol Spin, will take the space of the infamous Windseeker, which repeatedly stranded riders hundreds of feet above the ground. Standing six stories off the ground, this new flat ride will twist and turn riders on six rotating arms. The park will also be adding two new slide complexes to their Soak City water park, The Wedge, a family raft slide, and Shore Break, a thrilling complex featuring ProSlide drop style slides, similar to Bonzai Pipelines at the nearby Six Flags  Hurricane Harbor. Mean Streak Construction Update

It is all but confirmed that Mean Streak will be modified by the Idaho manufacturing firm Rocky Mountain Construction for the 2018 season at Cedar Point. According to several sources and photos, steel ledgers and rusty red track as used on hybrid coasters such as Twisted Colossus, Iron Rattler, and Wicked Cyclone have arrived on site accompanied by a crane with the company name and logo. Launched Mack Mega for Blackpool Pleasure Beach in 2018

Blackpool Pleasure Beach in Blackpool, England, will be receiving a Mack megacoaster with two launches in 2018. This ride will interact with several other signature Blackpool Pleasure Beach attractions, such as diving through Big One's lift. The ride will be situated between Avalanche and Big Dipper, and will feature speeds of up to 50 miles per hour. The ride, which has not yet been named, will stand 88 feet tall.  See more photos here

Valkyria and Loke Confirmed for Liseberg

As of this morning, the Swedish park Liseberg has announced their 2017 and 2018 attractions--A B&M Dive Machine named Valkyria and a Intamin Gyro Swing named Loke. Valkyria will stand 154 feet off the ground, and feature a signature 90 degree drop and speeds of up to 65 miles per hour. Loke will swing you up to 137 feet off the ground at an angle of 120 degrees. These two additions will be great for the park, and will push this park up to an international level.
